Modmail
The modmail system is not a toy, do not mess around with it. Every command and thing you say is logged to a transcript on the logs.tridentbot.xyz domain. It is important to exercise caution and not mess around. Be careful with what you say and ensure it is professional to the highest standard, if you come across something you cannot resolve, move it to Administration with $move admin. If you encounter any issues with the system, please contact a @Core Team member and we will resolve it as soon as possible. Please take a look at the modmail commands below, feel free to try them out on yourself, just remember that every time you open a thread, it pings @here, you can bypass this by using $newthread:
THREAD COMMANDS
- $close : This command closes the current modmail thread.
- $reply: This command sends a reply to the user who opened the modmail thread.
- $anonreply: This command sends an anonymous reply to the user who opened the modmail thread.
- $block : This command blocks a user from opening new modmail threads.
- $unblock: This command unblocks a user from opening new modmail threads.
- $logs: This command sends a link to the previous modmail logs with the user.
- $suspend: This command suspends the thread, the thread will act as closed until unsuspended.
- $unsuspend: This command unsuspends a thread and resumes it to normal.
- $alert: This command pings you when the thread gets a new reply.
- $edit : This command edits your reply to whatever you set it as.
- $delete : This command deletes whatever reply you specify.
- $loglink: This command gives you a link to the current modmail thread.
- $note : This command allows you to add a note to a user.
- $notes : This command shows notes on a user, set by other staff members.
- $delete_note : This command deletes a users note, set by staff members.
- $message : This command shows basic information on a reply message.
- $move admin: This moves the thread over to the Administration category, which only Management+ can view, this is to be used for issues that cannot be resolved by staff members. Ensure you post s$admin or something similar before running this command, as you won’t be able to access the thread.
GLOBAL COMMANDS
- $newthread : This command opens a new modmail thread with the user specified.
- $logs : This command lists previous modmail logs with the specified user.
- $block : This command blocks a user from accessing modmail.
- $unblock : This command unblocks the specified user, allowing them to use modmail.
- $is_blocked : This command checks if a user is blocked from accessing modmail.
- $note : This command allows you to add a note to a user.
- $notes : This command shows notes on a user, set by other staff members.
- $delete_note : This command deletes a users note, set by staff members.
